Summer is here! My second favorite season and my excitement is too high about spending time with my boys and hopefully frolicking on someone’s beach (soon). A couple of days ago, the boys requested juice fwith lunch and I decided to remix something we had in the fridge to get some Mama points. After scrolling good ole Pinterest, I decided to try the recipe I’m sharing today.
So after opening my fridge the only juice we had on hand was orange juice which is delicious on its own but I wanted to whip up something refreshing and different for the boys to try. Trying out a few unexpected simple ingredients made this a treat! Take a look and try the recipe below:
Creamy Orange Freeze
(kids under 1 –do not consume honey)
- 2 cups orange juice
- 1 cup ice
- 1/3 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup honey
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender and process on high speed until smooth and frothy, about 45 seconds.
- Pour into chilled glasses and serve.
- Add garnish for a tropical feel and make it special for the kids!
Simple and refreshing! When making these refreshing frothy drinks, the boys love when I add garnish to their drinks, it makes them feel like they’re getting something really special.
*All of today’s drink accessories were purchased from the Dollar Tree.
What are some of your favorite summer drinks to serve the kids? Got a Pinterest with recipes? Share so I can try them out.
